Dwell with Dignity transforms the lives of individuals overcoming homelessness through thoughtful design. With their special touch, and team of dedicated volunteers, Dwell with Dignity creates spaces that support stability, wellness, and self-sufficiency. The organization was founded in 2009 by Lisa Robison, an exceptional designer with a simple yet powerful mission: "to design spaces that not only support a client’s lifestyle, but also reflect who they are and what they strive for personally.” Dwell With Dignity continues to bring that mission to life, crafting homes that families are proud to call their own.
The Commit Partnership is a collective impact organization that unites school districts, higher education institutions, community partners, and policymakers to improve student outcomes across the cradle-to-career pipeline. Guided by their True North Goal, they are working toward a future in which, by 2040, half of all young adults in Dallas County will earn a living wage, irrespective of race. Driven to address Texas’ greatest disparities in public education, Founder and CEO Todd Williams launched the organization in 2012. Since then, Commit has grown to a team of over 70 dedicated employees and partnered with more than 200 organizations across Dallas County and the state.
More than a garden that grows delicious produce, Bonton Farms exists to disrupt systems of inequity and build thriving communities. What began as a small garden has grown into two farms, a farmer’s market, a café, and social enterprises that address the “seven human essentials” needed for flourishing: transportation, education, access to financial tools, community, health and wellness, economic stability, and safe, affordable housing. Determined to address the crime and social disparities he grew up around in South Dallas, Daron Babcock founded Bonton Farms in 2014 to revitalize the community. Since then, the farm has blossomed into a hub of connection and purpose, bringing together a passionate cohort of locals and volunteers and fostering a renewed sense of neighborhood pride.
